Biography

Tim earned his degree in Government and International Relations from the University of Notre Dame, and graduated with honors. He also studied the politics and economics of the European Union at the University of Innsbruck, Austria.

He is a member of the Clark County Skills Center Foundation, the Labor Roundtable, the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce’s Public Affairs Committee and a past member of the state’s oversight board for dropout prevention programs. He has worked as a state budget analyst, a state legislative liaison, Assistant to the Governor of Illinois for Welfare Reform and Workforce Development and CEO of the Washington Workforce Association.

An avid skier and backpacker, Tim and his wife, Tahira, have been married 15 years. They live in Vancouver with their four children, Alli, Charlotte, Aaron and Ginny.
