I hope you’ll find this a valuable resource to not only learn about the work I’m doing in Olympia but also contact me with your questions and thoughts. It is an honor to serve the people of the 41st District, and my goal is to enable an ongoing, two-way dialog with you about the issues we face.

In the Legislature, I’m focused on several issues that you’ve told me are important to you and that I’m passionate about as well:

  • Adequately funding our K-12 education system and re-defining education to better prepare our children with skills they’ll need for global competition, technology, and 21st century career paths.
  • Encouraging a diverse, skilled employment base, and attracting and keeping good jobs and successful businesses in our state.
  • Reducing congestion through infrastructure improvements and giving commuters more options.
  • Promoting Washington’s leadership for success in green industries that will improve our environment and create jobs at the same time.

These are just a few of the many issues I’ll be working on in the House of Representatives. I look forward to hearing your comments and suggestions along the way.
