Rep. Finn discusses his decision to retire from the legislature on TVW’s Inside Olympia:
Welcome to my Web site!
I’m honored to represent the people of the 35th Legislative District. This Web site is a resource for you to learn more about the job I’m doing on your behalf, and how you can be involved in your state Legislature.
My goal is to work on fiscally responsible strategies that will:
- Rebuild our economy. People should have a realistic opportunity to obtain and keep a reliable, family-wage job. Our primary focus right now needs to be job creation, and we must be cautious about taking any action that could potentially hamper economic recovery.
- Strengthen our public schools. Students should have access to a solid education that prepares them to compete in the global market, whether they live in an urban or rural community.
- Streamline government programs and services. The state should function efficiently and spend taxpayer dollars wisely.
We are fortunate to live in the 35th District, and together we can tackle these challenges and strengthen our communities. But I need your involvement, so be sure to keep in touch. My legislative assistant, Jane McCann, and I look forward to working with you.
Best wishes,
Rep. Fred Finn
