Join me on a tour of the 11th Legislative District

Dear Neighbors,
Welcome to my website! It’s an honor to serve the good people of the 11th District. You have sent me back to our state capitol to bring progress to our district in the areas of transportation, education, job creation and health care.
My work in Olympia will continue to focus on improving conditions for working families, and blue, white, and pink collar workers. I want to make sure that those who are looking for good family wage jobs will be able to find them.
I strongly believe what we need in this state is fair tax reform. Regular folk, families, small businesses and fixed income households are saddled with an ever increasingly heavy load of the tax burden due to shifts of responsibilities from corporations and the very wealthy and the federal government. I believe everyone should pay their fair share, which will ease the burden on the rest of us. Reforming our unfair system will mean more money in the hands of those of us who will turn around and put it directly back into our local economy. This is not just a question of fairness; it’s also an economic development issue.
I am very grateful for all your input; I always look forward to your letters, emails and calls because they help me represent you better. So please continue sharing with me your concerns as well as your ideas to improve Washington.
I hope you’ll join me in creating a state that reflects our values.
Sincerely,
Rep. Bob Hasegawa
