Greetings.

Welcome to my webpage.

We've tried to make this a useful place to visit -- a way for you to find out what I'm up to in the House of Representatives, a place where you can check on the Legislature as a whole, and an electronic portal into your entire state government.

There will be a lot to keep up with in 2009. We're committed to work on our state's economy, enhancing every person's chance to have a good job with real benefits. We're equally determined to make Washington's schools -- from pre-kindergarten through graduate school -- the best in the world. And we'll continue our fight to make good health care standard equipment, not a luxury option, here in the Evergreen State.

At a time like this, when both anti-tax sentiment and demands for government services are at all time highs, my primary goal is to be the best advocate I can be for the families, individuals and employers in Spokane's 3rd district.

Please stay in touch. Your ideas, observations and questions - even your complaints - will help me to do a better job as your state representative.

Sincerely,
Rep. Alex Wood
