Welcome to my webpage,
I am extremely honored to be your state representative for the 22nd Legislative District.
I am also very proud to represent the home of our state’s capitol. Our district plays a special role in state politics. Each year we welcome lawmakers from every corner of the state into our community for the legislative session. We may share different ideas on how to improve the state, but that underlying goal remains the same for us all.
An Olympia resident today, I have also lived in Lacey and Tumwater. Throughout a life spent predominantly in this district, the capitol dome has served as a constant reminder to me of how government touches each and every one of our lives. I believe Washingtonians deserve the Legislature’s best effort to truly represent their hopes and aspirations for a better future. Citizens should demand leadership, and not settle for political timidity and partisan rancor.
Our district is home to many dedicated state workers. My first priority will be making sure those citizens receive just compensation for their hard work. I am also committed to investing in our future by investing in education, protecting the environment in our fast-growing area, and ensuring greater access to quality, affordable health care – including long-term care – for us all.
With your help, I believe we can accomplish these goals. I always welcome your thoughts and ideas on a better future for Washington.
Sincerely,
Rep. Brendan Williams
