Van De Wege tours alternative energy sites

ROOSEVELT – State Rep. Kevin Van De Wege (D-Sequim), Monday, visited the nation’s largest public power initiated wind project, located in Roosevelt, Wash. Also on the tour was a landfill gas-to-energy facility in Goldendale, Wash. which generates 1 megawatts of Clallam County’s renewable energy. Also pictured, state Rep. Jeff Morris (D-Mount Vernon), chair of the House Technology, Energy and Communications Committee.
