Kris, 16, is the son of Lori and Greg Parke. He is an eleventh-grade student at Wahkiakum High School. “The page program is an excellent opportunity for high school students to experience government first-hand,” said Rep. Takko. “Kris did a wonderful job aiding members. I think he learned a lot about government during his time at the Capitol.” Since 1891, students have come from across the state to serve as pages in the Senate and House of Representatives.
