One of the most important tools in a healthy democracy is open dialogue about ideas, concerns, or problems that our communities may face. We all share the same goals in government; the problem lies in how we get there.
In my opinion there is never a perfect idea. We need to listen to each other and fine tune the fixes to our problems so that in the end, we get a product with which we are all happy.

If we are to thrive in the competitive world of the 21st Century we must leave no citizens on the sidelines. We can do it - but we need to restore that classic American "can do together" spirit.
