Welcome to my website! I’m a strong believer in open government and involved citizens. I hope this website will help you get informed about important issues affecting our state’s schools, colleges, jobs and health care. If you have any suggestions, please contact my office.

As I work for you in Olympia, I will concentrate on opening doors and creating opportunities for everyone. I hope to:

• Make  sure we have the best possible education system, from a child's earliest years through life-long learning.
   
• Create a well-educated, technology-focused workforce to keep and attract employers offering good-paying jobs.
   
• Make our communities safer through a greater emphasis on prevention and early intervention.
