Quall's Kids in the Hall:
Video of Rep. Dave Quall interviewing House pages about the WASL (March 2007, Quicktime, 12MB)

Hello, and welcome to my webpage.

When I was first elected to the state House of Representatives in 1992, I never dreamed that I'd have something like this as a way to stay in touch with the people of the 40th district. But here we are.

For those who are wondering just who I am -- the answer is, I'm a retired teacher, counselor and coach who still considers himself an educator. I am chairman of the House Education Committee, and school-related issues (from the simple-majority amendment and WASL requirements to school bullying and the way we finance public schools) occupy much of my time and attention in Olympia.

But as the representative of the entire 40th district, I'm also active on many other issues that are vital to the economy, environment and quality of life here in Skagit, Whatcom and Island counties, including:

  - Farmland preservation;
  - Transportation, especially ferries;
  - Clean air and water; and
  - Economic development.

Take a look around the website. I've tried to make it a convenient way to keep up with what we're doing in Olympia, and I hope it becomes an avenue for me to receive a consistent flow of information from my neighbors in the 40th district.

Sincerely,

Rep. Dave Quall
