Musician Mike McCready of the rock band Pearl Jam and his wife, Ashley O’Connor, will testify in support of House Bill 1138 during this Thursday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing. HB 1138, sponsored by Rep. Marko Liias (D – Mukilteo) would allow persons with certain medical conditions access to employee restrooms in retail establishments when certain criteria are met. Mr. McCready is a vocal proponent of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America, and has dealt personally with the issues addressed in Liias’ bill.
