Since 1891, students have come from across the state to serve as pages in the Senate and House of Representatives. Aron Castro of Walla Walla spent a week from Feb. 11 to Feb. 15 serving as a page for Rep. Bill Grant of Walla Walla. Aron, 15, is the son of Orucila Castro. He is a tenth-grade student at Walla Walla High School. Students or parents interested in the page program should contact Rep. Grant’s office. Pages spend one week in Olympia, with housing and a meal allowance provided.
