Judiciary vice chair, Capital Budget for Rep.-elect GoodmanDecember 15, 2006 KIRKLAND – State House Democrats yesterday tapped State Rep.-elect Roger Goodman’s (D-Kirkland) legal experience for the Judiciary Committee where he will lead as vice chair. “I’ve spent much of my career working on legal issues and it’s an honor to be vice chair on the committee working to improve the justice system,” Goodman said. Goodman, who represents the 45th district, will also serve on the Public Safety & Emergency Preparedness Committee and work on the state’s construction budget in the Capital Budget Committee. “Managing our area’s explosive growth is a top priority and the more we can do to plan for strong communities the better,” Goodman said. “In terms of infrastructure there is a lot to do and I’ll provide a voice for that on Capital Budget.” Goodman is one of three announced freshman on the 22 member Capital Budget Committee. # # # For more information Staff contact: Andrew Dziedzic (360) 786-7218
