Dunshee invites citizens to town hall meetings

Lawmaker hosting meetings in Lake Stevens, Mill Creek

March 3, 2009

OLYMPIA -- Whether you have questions about what's happening in the state capital or ideas of your own about improving schools, Rep. Hans Dunshee, D-Snohomish, wants to hear from you.

Dunshee is taking time in the middle of the legislative session to host two town hall meetings back home on Saturday, March 14.

"I hear from citizens every day by e-mail, on the phone, regular mail -- but there's something different about being face to face," Dunshee said. "I appreciate this chance to get away from the Olympia bubble and talk to my friends and neighbors again. A little common sense goes a long way."

Dunshee is hosting one town hall in Lake Stevens and another in Mill Creek.
