Citizens invited to town halls with Rep. Dunshee

OLYMPIA – Rep. Hans Dunshee will host two town hall meetings in the 44th District on Saturday, Feb. 18.

“It is always a pleasure to come back home and listen to my neighbors,” said Dunshee,  who also hosted a tele town hall the night of Feb. 6. “This is a chance for a dialogue – to ask questions,  listen to ideas and talk about ways we can work together to get things done.”

Jobs and education are two of the biggest issues facing Washington state, Dunshee said.

“How can we create jobs?” Dunshee said. “I disagree with the naysayers who claim that there’s nothing we can do. FDR and Dan Evans showed that there is way to bounce back from bad economies and get people working again.”

The House of Representatives is in the middle of the legislative session, which started in January.

Here are the details of the town halls:

Mill Creek

10 a.m. to noon

Mill Creek City Hall

15728 Main Street

Lake Stevens

1 to 3 p.m.

Lake Stevens Community Center

1808 Main Street

“I hope you can make one of the town halls,” Dunshee said. “If you can’t be there, please contact me by email, phone or regular mail to give me your comments, questions or ideas.”
